Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody is a much greater hunger and poverty than the person who has no food.-Mother Theresa

There are a few big things I'm very passionate about.

  • Music/concerts.

  • traveling/other countries,
And social justice issues, especially the crisis in Darfur, Sudan.

I know the subject has been around for a while. But I've been amazed at how many people know nothing about what's going on! So let me bring you up to speed.
Whats happening in Darfur right now is basically the holocaust of our generation. Mass genocide and atrocities. Governments feuding, zealots and rebels with their own agenda going through the sudan and pillaging, killing, raping, burning, and scavenging, leaving not much alive in their wake. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed needlessly already, millions more displaced all over with nothing. So basically whoever isn't killed, will die soon anyway because they have no shelter, food, or water. The livestock are dying as well. And of course there is no one to bury the hundreds of thousands of dead, so it all just lays around and rots. Therefore causing a much bigger problem with disease. Sounds disturbing, but it is! It's happening right now! This has been going on for 20 years, and not much has been done about it. But within the past couple years, people have become aware, stood up and taken action and things are happening. But there is always more room for some new movers and shakers! So, write your congressmen, president, grandma, anyone. everyone! and make them do something about it! Join the cause, fight for humanitarian rights in Darfur, and make a difference in this hurting world!

So in joining passions, I have some awesome news for you!

I know everyone loves concerts, I mean it's ridiculous how many concerts I've been to this year! But on November 10, bands all over the world are giving concerts as part of the Rock for Darfur tour and a portion of the proceeds are going straight to the Save Darfur Coalition.

Go to this website and find a concert in your area, tell all your friends, and GO!

And just incase this hasn't gotten your attention, maybe this will:
