quality time with 

my favorite nephew.

he is so cute 

i almost can't 

stand it!

i've been working on

a lot of art stuff

for the service

this sunday.

i'm nervous about it...

we'll see...

oh, and

i'm getting married

in two weeks!

i can't really 

get my mind 

around that...

where the wind comes sweepin' down the plains

rob and i drove up to 

OKcity thursday because

we were given another

wedding shower.

i didn't get any pictures of it,

but hopefully i can 

get some from his parents 

or something later.

But it was a really lovely party!

we came back tonight,

but we had 

many adventures 

while we were there.

we saw batman! (amazing)

got Hideaway Pizza

(best pizza ever)

and we saw the 

red round barn

of arcadia, OK.

we also went to POPS

of which i DID get pictures

 on my cell phone! 

POPS is a really modern, fancy 

take on a gas station,

but it is all glass, 

and they have 

every kind of soda in the world!

Just hundreds of 

different flavors and brands 

and it is AWESOME!

we were hoping lorie would 

go into labor 

while we were there

but no such luck...

she probably will tomorrow 

and we will have to go back.. hah

i got my bridal portraits slideshow 

in my email today.

i've been checking my email 

about every hour 

for 5 days

and it's finally here!!

i really wish i could post it 

and show it to you.

but i suppose you'll 

just have to wait... 

my older brother Chason

had his 27th birthday last week.

crazy!

i made him a guitar hero cake

to go with the guitar hero

game we got him. 

it took nearly

my whole life 

to do.

also i made this for kohen 

when he was born

but i haven't shared it with you all yet

this weeekend!

my mom, annie, and cassie

put it all together for me. 

and it was amazing. 

they know how to 

throw a good party!

i got to see a lot

of old friends and 

some cousins

and people i never get to

hand out with!

it was a grand time.

i also got some great stuff

for Rob's and my new home!

i'm so excited about having

my own kitchen!

weekend of firsts!

this 4th of july

was so much fun

and full of firsts.

rob went to his

first ever 

Independence Day Parade!

my family has gone every year

my whole life. 

i love it.

then rob and i drove up

to OK city to stay with his family.

and on the way

we drove through a fire,

pouring rain,

and stopped to buy fireworks!

which i had never done before.

then we went to a party their church

had for the neighborhood.

is he kidding me with those eyes? ;)

and we set off

fire works for the whole city!

steve had to teach me what to do...

i was a bit timid about it...

rob is a pro

it was the most fun i've

ever had on the 4th of July!
