cold, rainy, yucky

i do not like

days like today.

the constant

almost-rain,

not freezing,

but still

not any easier

to drive in

because of my

wee little car.

too cold,

too wet,

too yucky

for my taste.

i would rather have

any day than

a yucky tuesday.

but then again,

fog has it's way

of making things

beautiful in their

yucky-ness,

and it is cozy

as long as you

can stay

inside...

and a little

puddle jumping

is called for

now and then...

and of course

there's always

some apple cider

to warm things up,

and i do have a

spotty dotty

umbrella.

so i guess it's not

so bad.

just be sure to have

some fuzzy

gloves.

fuzzy gloves

are a must.

belly

i was out

and about,

minding my

own business.

just wearing

a t-shirt

and jeans,

nothing overly

flowy.

and a lady cashier

asked me when

i am due.

as in

due to

birth a child...

because

apparently

i look pregnant.

now,

i had assumed

that everyone

on the planet

has learned by now

that,

whats the rule?

"never ever ever

ever ever

ever

ask that question.

you know this.

i don't care if a lady

has a pregnant belly

sticking 5 ft out

like she's got 7

kids in there,

you just

don't.

so, incase you were

wondering about

my supposed

preggy belly,

i am not.

i just had

a little too much

fun with holiday

treats i guess.

i think i'll

go take a little

stroll on the

treadmill now.

box

i've been

kickboxing/

boxing

a lot lately.

i really

enjoy it,

even though

about halfway

through my sessions

i feel a bit

like dying,

and my instructor

makes fun of me..

but it's really

fun.

we are moving in

2 weeks

into a house!

about 10 minutes

from where

we live now.

i am so very

excited!

it is kind of

bittersweet

because i love

our home now,

and i will miss it.

our first apt.

together.

but i will not

miss the 3 flights

of stairs,

nor the crazy neighbors

that sometimes

walk into our door

by accident,

nor the dog needing

to go

down

those 3 flights

when it is 12 degrees

outside.

our new place has a garage

and a big yard,

and tall windows,

and i am so excited!

so, of course we are boxing

things up.

lots

and lots

of boxes.

kohen

i just wanted

to put up

of my nephew

Kohen.

he's getting so big,

and just cuter

and cuter by the second!

he's the big 7 months now,

and he can sit in the grocery cart.

and he loves it.

all the pictures

rob and i went

to the sister hazel

concert last night.

it was the 4th time

we've seen them,

and they are just

so great!

awesome show.

about a dozen times

during the evening

i saw people taking

their own picture.

you know,

and the couple in front of us

took several throughout the night.

and every time i would try to duck out

of the picture so they wouldn't have my face

in all their pictures.

and then i got to thinking

while standing in the ridiculously

long bathroom line:

i wonder how many people's pictures i'm in?

in my almost-23 years, i bet

i've walked through a million billion

of other peoples photos,

somewhere

in the background.

and then i started thinking

how cool it would be

if you could round up all the pictures

i ended up in, put them all in a book,

and every picture is a story of someone

else's life.

why they were there,

taking that picture,

with that person.

i think that would

make a pretty interesting

bunch of stories.

i just have no idea how you would

ever get all the pictures,

but it's kinda cool

to think about yourself

off in the background in pictures

you've never seen,

all over the world.

just as an aside,

i saw this, and i laughed.

i love dogs...

2009 snuck up on me.
i don't know about you,
but i was not ready.
the past 2 months
flew by so fast
i barely know
what i did
with the time!
